Rubber Industry 3
Natural rubber or NR is a commodity used around the world as a raw material for
many products, but primarily vehicle tires and latex gloves. The price of natural
rubber is tied to the supply of rubber, the demand for the end products, and the
price of substitutes for NR. Oil prices also shape supply and demand because crude
oil is used to make synthetic rubber.
